AmMex Gold Reports Copper, Molybdenum Anomaly at Rey Midas Concession, Sonora , Mexico
SONORA, MEXICO – (BUSINESS WIRE) - April 26, 2007 - AmMex Gold Mining Corp. (OTCBB: AMXG) (FWB: R5E, WKN: A0KE72) is pleased to report initial results of a reconnaissance program at the Rey Midas concession, located in NW Sonora, Mexico.
Surface sampling has identified an area with elevated copper, molybdenum and lead over approximately five to six hectares that may extend under post mineral alluvial cover. Several assays reported anomalous copper values with the best sample reporting just over 1% copper (10,000 ppm). The same area also carried moderately anomalous Molybdenum with two samples over 100 ppm and higher Lead values with several samples over 100 ppm, and the best sample at 800 ppm Pb.
AmMex Gold is planning a 2nd phase exploration program to further investigate the Copper/Molybdenum anomaly, along with an initial reconnaissance program of the nearby San Filipe area (a placer gold occurrence).
